De Internationale Wielerunie UCI maakte een lijst bekend met 21 teams die in 2008 tot het Professioneel Circuit behoren. Landbouwkrediet en Vlaanderen zijn erbij. Pedaltech-Cyclingnews-Jako zag zijn aanvraag geweigerd.Mitsubishi-Jartazi, dat onder Estlandse vlag rijdt, maar een sterke Belgische inbreng heeft, hoort ook bij de 21. Zeven teams werden geweigerd omdat hun dossier niet correct of onvolledig was. Zij hebben wel nog de kans om in beroep te gaan.
